Busy Bees

Our Youngest Little Learners

Our Busy Bees may be our youngest preschoolers, but they are always buzzing with excitement!

At two years old, children are beginning to explore the world around them, develop language skills, build independence, and discover what it means to be part of a classroom.

Through songs, stories, sensory play, art, music, and hands-on activities, our Busy Bees are introduced to early learning concepts in fun and engaging ways.

Our teachers also help children practice important everyday skills, such as:

  • Following simple directions
  • Cleaning up toys
  • Washing hands
  • Sharing
  • Learning classroom routines
At this age, even the smallest accomplishments are BIG milestones!

Whether it’s learning a new word, completing an art project, or making a new friend, we love celebrating every little success.

Little hands, big discoveries, and lots of buzzing fun!

Eager Elephants

Growing and Exploring

Our Eager Elephants are curious, energetic, and ready to explore!

This is such an exciting stage of development. Children are becoming more independent, developing stronger communication skills, and beginning to understand how to interact with their friends.

Our Elephant classroom builds on early preschool experiences through:

  • Circle time
  • Classroom stations
  • Art
  • Music
  • Stories
  • Sensory activities
  • Hands-on learning

Children begin exploring letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other early learning concepts through fun, age-appropriate activities.

Our Elephants are also learning important social skills, such as:

  • Taking turns
  • Sharing
  • Following directions
  • Expressing their feelings
  • Participating in group activities
One of our favorite things about this age is hearing those three little words: “I DID IT!”

Every new accomplishment helps build confidence and independence.

Our Eager Elephants are growing by leaps and bounds!

Dragonfly Pre-K

Getting Ready to Soar

Our Dragonfly Pre-K classroom is where our oldest preschoolers prepare for their next BIG adventure—kindergarten!

During this exciting year, our Dragonflies continue building the academic, social, and emotional skills that will help them feel confident and prepared for elementary school.

Our Pre-K curriculum focuses on:

  • Early literacy
  • Letter recognition
  • Beginning writing skills
  • Math concepts
  • Counting
  • Science
  • Problem-solving
  • Hands-on learning experiences

Through circle time, classroom stations, group activities, and creative projects, children are encouraged to think independently, ask questions, and develop a love of learning.

But kindergarten readiness is about so much more than knowing ABCs and 123s!

Our Dragonflies also work on important life skills, including:

  • Following multi-step directions
  • Taking responsibility for their belongings
  • Completing activities independently
  • Communicating their needs and feelings
  • Working cooperatively with classmates
  • Developing confidence and problem-solving skills
  • Building positive friendships

Our goal is to help children enter kindergarten feeling confident, capable, and excited about learning.

Watching our Dragonflies grow throughout their final preschool year is incredibly special.

And while saying goodbye at graduation is always bittersweet, seeing our little learners ready to spread their wings makes us so proud!

Once a NAPS kiddo, always part of our NAPS family!
One NAPS Family

Different Ages, Different Stages, One NAPS Family!

One of the most wonderful things about preschool is watching children grow from one classroom to the next.

  • ThenA child who once needed help putting away toys
Nowmay eventually become the confident Pre-K student helping a younger friend.
  • ThenThe little one who was once nervous at drop-off
Nowmay become the preschooler who runs into class excited to see their teachers and friends.
  • ThenAnd the child who once scribbled with crayons
Nowmay eventually proudly write their own name.

These are the moments that make preschool so special.

At New Adventures Preschool, we believe that childhood is a journey filled with learning, laughter, friendships, milestones, and memories.

No matter which classroom your child calls home, our goal remains the same: to provide a nurturing, encouraging, and engaging environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.

Four classrooms. Four stages of learning. One big NAPS family.

And every day brings another New Adventure!
